Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #9

I just recently found a new card challenge Stay Crafty With Hero on the Hero Arts blog. Since I have quite the collection of Hero Arts products, I thought that I'd join in. The challenge this week is a sketch challenge

Here's my card

I saw that I would need several patterned papers, so I chose to start with a 6x6 paper pack (unfortunately, I can't remember which one)! I love working with 6x6 paper packs because the papers work together. I chose five patterned papers and cut them according to the sketch. Instead of a star, I stamped the large flower from Hero Arts Happy Mother's Day stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I fussy cut the flower. I decided to leave the flower white, in contrast with all the colored patterned papers. I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts Color Layering Hydrangea stamp set.
