STAMPlorations ARTplorations Flash Stencil Project
Here's my second card
It's for the STAMPlorations ARTplorations Flash Stencil Project Linky Party at STAMPlorations blog
I used the Shower of Flutters stencil. I inked up a card front with distress inks - chipped sapphire, dusty concord, picked raspberry and mustard seed. I spritzed water on the stencil and laid the stencil on the inked card front water side down. The water worked to remove some of the ink.

Freshly Made Sketches 188 & Stamp Nation Spotlight Technique
Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches
I took a little liberty with the placement of the "flowers", replacing the flowers with balloons and instead of being all in a horizontal row, they are more scattered through the sentiment panel using a technique demonstrated by HeatherN at Stamp Nation where it is described as the spotlight technique.
The sentiment is stamped on the card base. It is also stamped on various colours of cardstock.
I chose 3 balloons from this WPlus9 set and cut out various parts of the sentiment on the colour cardstock. The balloons are placed directly above the corresponding part on the card base. It almost looks like the balloons were stamped on the cardbase and the sentiment stamped on top.

STAMPlorations - CASEplorations May Challenge
Here's my card
It's for the May challenge at STAMPlorations blog
They have several challenges. This card is for their CASEplorations May Challenge where I was inspired by this card by Kim Makortoff
I started with white pigment ink on kraft cardstock and added a bit of colour as I re-stamped the flowers, slightly off-centred. Actually, I probably couldn't directly stamp over top, if I tried!

Happy Little Stampers - May CAS Challenge
Here's my card
It's for the monthly CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers
I think that the dies are from My Favorite Things - I have long since thrown away the packaging! I die cut the words "Happy Birthday". I cut a piece of vellum, a little smaller than a card front. On the back of the vellum, I lightly marked out a rectangle, larger and wider than the die cut words. I coloured on the back of the vellum making vertical lines and slightly overlapping, using copics YR04, BG05, V17, R35 and YG06. I adhered the vellum to the card front (with the colouring on the backside). I then adhered it all to a card base. Added a bit of bling to finish the card off.

Happy Little Stampers - May Sketch Challenge
Here's my card
It's for the monthly sketch challenge at Happy Little Stampers
I loved the circles of colour.
I used this Papertrey ink stamp set and just about every colour of Hero Arts Shadow inks I own. I used the "roll the stamp" technique with a different colour to add some interest.

The Friday Mashup 211
Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at The Friday Mashup
FM211 - Watercolor Fun
So I saw this card
on Pinterest and watched the video here
I love the look of the card and thought that I ought to try. Nicole in the video made it look so easy.
I inked up the sentiment from a STAMPlorations with the Ranger Archival ink, which is waterproof. I added water to the card front using a small brush. I then added colour using Distress Inks - picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade, spiced marmalade, peacock feathers and seedless preserves.
I wasn't sure before I started and figured, it was just a piece of watercolour paper. So, I gave it a shot. I like how it turned out.

Little Tangles Challenge #56 & Uniko Stamps Challenge #21
Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at Little Tangles and Uniko Studio.
The theme at Uniko Studio is: Flowers
I was inspired by this card at this blog
The flowers are from this Papertrey Ink set. I just need to say that I love my Papertrey ink stamp sets. I don't have many ... yet! Used Hero Arts Shadow inks.
I was a little nervous adding the black pen lines. However, I like how they turned out.
