Paper Smooches SPARKS October 25-31 Designer Drafts Challenge

Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at Paper Smooches

I admit it. I had difficulty with this sketch. I just couldn't figure out what to do. I finally settled on creating one stamped panel and then cut it up to the component pieces.

I used my favourite Paper Smooches stamp set to create the panel.

The sentiment is from this Paper Smooches stamp set.

Stampin' Celebration SC115 Sketch Challenge

Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at Stampin' Celebration

I used a Paper Smooches die set to cut out three hearts.

I used this Simon Says STAMP stamp set for the sentiment which was stamped on a scrap of cardstock. I cut it to form a banner.

I found a piece of polka dot printed paper to be the background for the hearts and sentiment.

A Blog Named Hero - October Challenge

Here is my card

It's for the current challenge at A Blog Named Hero

I used this Unity Stamps stamp set using white pigment ink first. Once dry, I inked with Hero Arts shadow ink (Grape Juice and Field Green), slightly offsetting the stamped image.

I used an acrylic block and the white pigment ink to make the white rectangle shape for the sentiment, stamped with Grape Juice from this Paper Smooches stamp set.

I added a bit of white ribbon to complete the card.

TIME OUT Challenges #42

Here's my card

It's for the current challenge at TIME OUT Challenges

Here's the photo inspiration

Spray paint dollar store glass candle sticks black and add pumpkins for Halloween decoration

So ... I admit it. This was a difficult challenge for me. I don't have any halloween nor pumpkin stamps or dies. UGH! I focused on the patterns.

I used this Tim Holtz stencil on orange paper and black ink. I found a scrap of black and white strip patterned paper.

I cut out a Simon Says STAMP "thanks" die from black cardstock and used my Wink of Stella to add a bit of sparkle & shine - inspired by the shine on the candle holders. Here's a close-up.

Muse Card Challenge #138

Here's my card
It's for the current challenge at Muse Card Club

This week's card is by Anita Bowden

So .... I looked through my stamps and I didn't have any flowers with matching dies, nor vase/bowl. I needed to improvise. I made a bowl from a die cut circle, cut almost in half. I used a scrap piece to make the base.

I die cut flowers with two shades of pink cardstock and leaves from this Paper Smooches die set. I added a little detail to the flowers with a white pen.

Sentiment is from this Simon Says STAMP set. I attempted to re-create the "feeling" of the original sentiment "You are amazing", repeating the large "YOU" with black ink and the smaller "amaze me" in pink.

I found some black dot paper. I think that my card is similar to Anita's with my own twist (because I didn't have the "right" stamps and dies).

I don't have any halloween stamps so I had to pick a different subject, other than the halloween (which is in 6 days!).

I used this Stampendous stamp

I cut out a 1" mask and using ink blending tools added colour using Spiced Marmalade distress ink and Rusty Hinge Hero Arts ink.

Sentiment is from this Paper Smooches set

I used this stamp set with Versafine ink. I stamped once and again (as a bit of a shadow) before re-inking. I then used ink blending tools to add distress inks (dusty concord and chipped sapphire) after masking off the "moon".

The sentiment is from this stamp set.

The Paper Players PP267

Here's my card

It's for the current challenge at The Paper Players

I masked off an area using post-it tape.

Inked up the leaves from this SU stamp set. Used the "rock n roll" technique to add a second colour to the edges of the stamp. Before removing the post-it tape, I used an ink blending tool to add a bit of colour (stamping off, first) to the inked panel.

Sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
