Mod Squad Challenge: Watercolor Stamping

Watercolor stamping is one of my favorite techniques. When I saw the current challenge at Mod Squad Challenge, I knew that I had to join in

CHALLENGE

Watercolor Stamping – The challenge this week is to do some watercolor stamping! This is a technique in which you color your stamp with water based inks, huff on the stamp or spritz with water, and then stamp on your paper. You can use water based markers, watercolors, inks, applied with a water brush or paint brush. You MUST use this technique for your creation.
Here's my card

I started with Stampin' Up's Artistically Asian stamp set. I inked up the stamp with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers (Scarlet Red and Pale Dawn Gray) and spritzed with water before stamping onto an A2 watercolor paper panel. I used a paper towel sheet to pick up the extra water. For the sentiment, I used Waffle Flower's Konnichiwa stamp set. I trimmed the watercolor paper panel and double matted with black and green.
