It's a nice snowy day here in Vancouver. It's a great day to stay in and craft. The challenge at Less is More was too good to pass up.
Here's my card.
I started with some watercolour paper, scribbled some pink and red Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and blended the colours with a water brush. I then used Darice's Chevron embossing folder to give the panel some texture. Here's a close-up.
The sentiment was die cut from silver shimmer cardstock with Simon Says STAMP Painted Thanks die. The dry embossed panel was matted with the same silver shimmer cardstock. I added a few rhinestones for a bit of sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by

I love this, not sure whether it's because you've embossed the panel or whether it's the gorgeous colour you chose - IT ROCKS!

Beautiful watercolouring. The gorgeous colours are bright and vibrant. The shiny silver accented it wonderfully. A real eye-catcher. Thank you for joining us at Less is More. xx
ReplyDeleteSuperb choice of colours and your dry embossing looks really CAS in this design. Love it! Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteI've never thought of embossing watercolour paper, what a great idea with the watery blend.
