Happy Little Stampers ~ June 2022 Christmas Challenge

Too soon to think about creating Christmas cards for the upcoming Christmas season? There are less than seven months until Christmas. It's as good a time as any to start to get ready. We have a new challenge for you at Happy Little Stampers ~ Christmas Challenge

Here's my card

As you can tell, I incorporated the optional twist of snow globe onto my card. I started with Clearly Besotted's Shake It stencil and a white A2 card panel. I added color with the stencil with distress inks (tumbled glass and salty ocean for the globe part and hickory smoke for the base) applied with oval ink blending brushes. I stamped the sentiment using Simon Says STAMP with Clearly Besotted's Magical Christmas stamp set and Versafine Onyx Black ink onto the base. For the moose, I used the same STAMPtember stamp collaboration. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, added color with Copic markers - BG13, E25, E29, E43, R22, V15 and fussy cut it out. For the snow in the globe, using the same stencil set, I added some Ranger texture paste, applied with a palette knife for a bit of dimension. I let the texture paste dry and then adhered the little moose inside the globe. Using double sided tape, I glued the panel to a white A2 card base to complete my Christmas card.

We'd love to see your Christmas creations in our gallery.
