And ... we're back from our summer break. It's time for a new challenge at STAMPlorations CAS. This month our challenge is
Here's my card (and I used the optional twist, too!)
For my card, I stamped the lily image using STAMPlorations Blossom Spray #3 using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then used some post-it tape to mask off the 0.5" areas. I applied distress inks (mowed lawn, shabby shutters, twisted citron) with an ink blending tool, moving the masked off area after each color application. In full disclosure, I was going to stamp a sentiment in the lower right corner. However, I found I had left a bit of an ink smudge (inky fingers) and wanted to cover it up. So, I used a clear sticker from the STAMPlorations Just Thank You clear sticker pack and adhered it to a scrap of green cardstock. I trimmed the sentiment strip and covered up my ink smudge. Phew - saved that card! I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base to complete the card.
We'd love to have you join us this month. We're anxious to see your clean and simple (CAS) creations.
