Happy Little Stampers ~ November Watercolour Challenge

WOW! It's difficult to believe that we're talking about November 2021 already. 2020 seemed to take forever and 2021 seems to have sped up. It's definitely getting cooler and wetter (I live in the Pacific Northwest). It's great to be able to spend time at my craft table when the weather is yucky outside. We have a new challenge at Happy Little Stampers ~ Watercolour Challenge. Our monthly challenges are always

Here's my card

I like the look of faux watercolouring. It makes it seem like I know how to watercolour when it's not - LOL! For this card, I used some watercolour paper and Stampin' Up's Just Believe stamp set. I used my MISTI for this. I inked up the rubber stamp with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers - purple and green. Before stamping, I spritzed with water. There were a few areas, that didn't come out like I had hoped, so I repeated the process. Using a MISTI makes this possible. I trimmed the watercolour paper to 2" x 5.25" and matted with black cardstock. I found some tone-on-tone green patterned paper for the background. For the sentiment, I used My Favorite Things' Itty Bitty Basics stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I die cut the sentiment with a My Favorite Things' Skinny Strips die.

We'd love for you to join our Anything Goes watercolour challenge.
