Happy Little Stampers ~ December Watercolour Challenge

WOW! It's December. How are you Christmas preparations going? I make a calendar about six weeks before Christmas and fill in each day with things I need to do in order for everything to be ready for Christmas. I write things in pencil because, well, you know, sometimes I get distracted by my craft table and "forget" to do other errands and tasks!

It's time for our December challenge at Happy Little Stampers ~ Watercolour Challenge.

Here's my card

I participated in the Crop and Create Delivered Cardmaking Event in October. As part of the event, we received Lawn Fawn products and had a class given by Jenn Shurkus. This card was inspired by one card we made with her. I started with some Strathmore 140 lb cold press watercolor paper. I made a watercolor puddle in the center of the panel with Lawn Fawn Peacock ink and lots of water. I set it aside to dry. On a white A2 card panel, I ink blended the edges with Lawn Fawn Sugarplum ink. I then stamped using the small three snowflake stamp from Lawn Fawn Frosties stamp set with LF Sugarplum ink. I trimmed the watercolor panel to 3.75" x 5". Then, I used LF's Snowflake stencil and ink blending with both LF Peacock and Sugarplum inks over the watercolor puddle. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Peacock ink on the watercolor panel. I adhered the watercolor panel to the ink blended panel and then adhered it all to a white A2 card base to complete the card.

We'd love to see your Watercolor projects this month.
