Happy Little Stampers ~ September Christmas Challenge

It's so fun to think about Christmas. I love the carols, the decorations, the lights and of course, Santa Claus. I'm pretty sure that I have more Christmas stamp sets than any other topic/subject. There are so many good ones out there, right?

We have a new challenge for the month of September at Happy Little Stampers ~ Christmas Challenge

Here's my card

Well, I suppose that the "non-traditional" part of my card are the colors, very non-Christmasy. I was going through my craft supplies and found The Crafter's Workshop 6x6 Ornaments stencil. I inked up the ornaments with distress inks - kitsch flamingo, peacock feathers, cracked pistachio, shaded lilac, spun sugar, picked raspberry, blueprint sketch on white cardstock. I fussy cut the ornaments. Using a Sakura silver gelly roll pen, I colored in the ornament tops using the stencil and added the strings, using a ruler onto a light blue A2 card panel before adhering the ornaments. The sentiment is stamped using Paper Smooches' A Blessed Christmas stamp set and was heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

We'd love to see your Christmas creations.
