Addicted to Stamps and More! Challenge #415

I'm pretty sure that as I age, time speeds up. I wonder if a minute is no longer 60 seconds long or if a second is really a second. I feel like it should still be the beginning of September, not the end. This must mean that Christmas is just around the corner and I have so much to do before then. It might be time to start a list of things to do before Christmas!

OK, enough of e rambling on. It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More!

Here's my card

I think that this is my new favorite layered stencil - Lawn Fawn's Tropical Leaves Background Stencils. There are two stencils. I inked them up using distress inks (salty ocean, carved pumpkin, picked raspberry, peacock feathers, seedless preserves) all applied with an ink blending tool. For the sentiment, I die cut the "happy" using Memory Box's paintbrush happy die. I also stamped the word "birthday" from Papertry Ink's Phrase Play #5 stamp set using Hero Arts Bubble Gum ink onto a scrap of light gray cardstock that I trimmed down.

So, I was able to use both stencils and a die cut on my card. How about you - stencil? die cut? both? We'd love for you to join us.
