I have exciting news. I'm representing Perfectly CAS challenge blog at Altenew's Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop with 12 Challenge Blogs + Giveaway ($250 in Total Prizes).
As you can guess by the title of the challenge blog hop, there are 12 Challenge Blogs participating.
The main rule at Perfectly CAS is that only one-third or less of the card be covered, as well as being clean and simple.
Here is my first card
I started with an A2 sized panel of Strathmore 140 lb cold press watercolor paper. I heat embossed the floral image using Altenew's Everlasting Happiness stamp set with clear embossing powder. I added color with Michael's Artist Loft watercolor paints pan set, water and a small paint brush. I was trying for a muted effect and used quite a bit of water. When I had harsh lines between the colors, I added more water and blended it out with the brush. I kept adding color and water until I was happy with the card panel. After flattening the panel under some heavy books, I stamped the sentiment using Altenew's Sketchy Floral stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I adhered the panel to a side folding A2 white card base to complete the card.
Here's my second card
I started this card with a 2" x 3.25" acrylic block. I smooshed distress ink (salty ocean, twisted citron, seedless preserves) onto the acrylic block and then spritzed it with water. I "stamped" the block onto an A2 sized panel of Strathmore 140 lb cold press watercolor paper towards the bottom and left side of the panel. I repeated the process a few times, as I was looking for good ink coverage on the watercolor paper. When dry, I placed it under some heavy books to flatten out. I then stamped the floral image and the sentiment using Altenew's Weekend Doodles stamp set with Versafine Onyx black ink.

A huge thank you to Altenew for this opportunity. Also, if you're interested in the challenge of covering one third or less of your card panel, then you should check out Perfectly CAS.
