Die Cut Divas ~ Altenew Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends! I'm here with another card for this month's challenge at Die Cut Divas. We're happy to have Altenew as our sponsor this month. They will be giving our winner a $20 gift certificate to their online store.

Here's my card

For my card, I used Altenew's Floral Shadow stamp set and my MISTI. I inked up the stamp with distress inks, ripe persimmon, picked raspberry and spiced marmalade for the flowers and mowed lawn for the leaves. After inking the stamps, I spritzed them with water and stamped onto an A2 panel of 140 lb Strathmore watercolor paper. I stamped the flowers first - repeatedly until I was happy with the color coverage. I waited for the inks to mostly dry before inking up the leaves. I like the watercolor look to the stamping. I used Avery Elle's dotted die to die cut the panel. I added a sentiment from the same stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I used my MISTI and stamped a couple of time due to the bumpy nature of the watercolor paper. I adhered the panel to a natural card base (slightly smaller than A2).
