Perfectly CAS ~ Challenge #18

I love making clean and simple cards. I feel calm and peaceful with all the white space. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the lacy, frilly, multi-layer cards too. They are just not me. So, for others like me, who like clean and simple cards, we have a new challenge for you at Perfectly CAS

There are so many possibilities on how one could use stripes and/or dots on a card. I chose dots. Here is my card

For my card, I started with one stencil from Simon Says STAMP's Simple Patterns Trio Stencil pack. I added muted earthy colors with distress inks - Old Paper, Bundled Sage, Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss. I added a black die cut using Memory Box's Large Olive Branch. I could have stamped a large silhouette image but thought I'd try a die cut this time. For the sentiment, I used Poppy Stamps' Peony Stems and Blossoms stamp set with black ink.

Now it's your turn to create a card with stripes and/or dots. Don't forget to cover 1/3 of the card panel or less! That's the premise of Perfectly CAS.
