Try Stampin' On Tuesday ~ Challenge #520

Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends! It's time for a new challenge at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. Here's our sketch &/or technique to inspire you.

I chose to go with the technique and here's my card

When I think of splatters, I think of my Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Collection Set 3, which contains the spatters, splashes and coffee cup ring images. I started with a natural A2 card base. I added splatters, splashes and coffee cup rings randomly on the card using Vintage Photo distress ink, applied with an ink blending tool.  I "may have" gone a bit overboard - LOL! I wanted to contrast the background with a white coffee cup. I used Paper Smooches' Cozy Coffee die and some gray, white and striped patterned paper to create this coffee cup. The sentiment, stamped with Hero Arts Cup O' Joe ink onto a strip of natural cardstock, uses a STAMPlorations stamp set, Coffeecionado. I adhered the strip and cup to the background to complete the card.
