Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #601

Happy Monday Friends! Hope your Monday was a good one. We have a new sketch challenge starting today at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Here's my card

For my card, I used Gina K Designs' Daisies Forever layering stencil bundle (layering stencils, dies) that I received as part of my kit for Crop & Create Delivered March 2021. I used the stencils with Gina K Design's inks - Grass Green, Red Velvet, Lipstick, Bubblegum Pink, Passionate Pink applied with oval ink blending brushes. I die cut the elements using the coordinating dies. For the background, I used a Gina K technique of swiping a ink cube along a piece of cardstock. When done correctly, it looks like wood panels or wood slats. In my case, I used Gina K Design's Soft Stone ink cube on a light gray A2 card panel. I die cut a circle from the a slightly darker gray cardstock with a Sizzix circle die. I arranged the elements on the card and glued them in place. For the sentiment, I stamped using Hero Arts Year Round Sentiments stamp set and Gina K Design's Soft Stone ink on a scrap of light green. I cut the sentiment strip into a fish-tail banner strip and glued it in place. To complete my card, I adhered the A2 card panel to a white A2 card base.
