AAA Cards ~ Challenge #277

There's a new Clean and Simple challenge at AAA Cards. For the next fortnight, the challenge is

Here's my card. I chose to incorporate Halloween on my card.

For my card, I stamped the cute monster and sentiment using Your Next Stamp's Way Cool Monsters stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added color with Copic markers - C2, G14, Y11, Y38, YR04. I die cut the monster out with the coordinating die set. I had some "spooky" paper left over from a previous project. I used 96 lb bristol and ink blended distress inks (seedless preserves, dusty concord and chipped sapphire) with oval ink blending brushes. I spritzed the paper with water to get a mottled look (although it's pretty difficult to see in this photo). I die cut out a circle using a Sizzix circle die. I found some "spooky" patterned paper from an Authentic Enchanted 6x6 bundle for the horizontal strip. I adhered the pieces to a cream A2 card base to complete my card.
