Addicted to CAS ~ Challenge #262

We have a new challenge for you at Addicted to CAS. I think it's the perfect Code Word, especially if you live in the Northern Hemisphere.

Here's my card

For me, summer means popsicles and ice cream. I started by masking off a 2" strip on a white A2 card base with Post-it Tape. I made circle masks with Post-it Notes and 1/2", 3/4" and 1" circle punches. I used the masks and distress inks (mustard seed, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry) applied with oval ink blending brushes to create the arrangements of circles. I lightly ink blended with tumbled glass distress ink, to help delineate the area. I stamped the fun summer treats using Avery Elle's Cool Treats stamp set. I carefully removed the masks and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set to complete my one-layer summer-inspired card.
