Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #523

Hello Monday! Hope you're ready for another week. Well, if you're not, unfortunately I don't think there is a way to stop time. Maybe you need some crafty time. It's what I do when I'm not ready to face the world. That's me, the Introvert talking! LOL!

We have a new challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge for you. Here's the sketch.

Here's my interpretation of the sketch.

I started with the sketch and then added a few creative interpretations. Instead of the diamond shapes, I used circles. I didn't incorporate two colors on the background. I felt that my card was busy enough with all the colors. For my card, I used Avery Elle Critter Circle Tags stamp set and Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamped onto a white A2 card base. I arranged the three critters, using my MISTI and stamped. For the party hats, I used Lawn Fawn's Hats Off to You stamp set. I stamped the same party hat three times on a scrap of white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. For the cupcake, I stamped using STAMPlorations Party Mates stamp set and again with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images in using Copic markers (lots of Copic markers - LOL!) - B24, B93, BG05, BG23, C2, C3, C5, E21, E25, E33, E43, E47, E71, G14, R11, R29, V05, W2, Y15, Y17, 100. I fussy cut the hats and cupcake and glued them into place. The sentiment was from the Avery Elle stamp set and was stamped also with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I trimmed the panel slightly and matted with a black A2 card panel. I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base to complete my card.

We'd love to see your interpretation of our sketch in our gallery.
