Try Stampin' on Tuesday ~ Challenge # 472

Well, it's Tuesday, so it must be time for a new challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday 

OPTIONAL THEME: Beverages either warm or cold

Isn't this a fun sketch. When I was creating my card, I was needing caffeine - so that was my inspiration. Here's my card

I started by stamping the cute coffee cup using The Alley Way's Breakfast Club stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added color with Copic markers BG05, G05, R29. I used a Sizzix circle die and a Spellbinders scalloped circle die to make the focal circle and border. To complement this, I started by looking for coffee colored or coffee inspired patterned papers. I made my own small piece of "patterned paper", using Elizabeth Craft Design's Coffee stencil with ground espresso distress ink, applied with an ink blending tool. Note - it's that small piece under the sentiment strip! LOL! The sentiment is from STAMPlorations Hello Coffee stamp set. I used EK Success' postage stamp border punch  on the sentiment strip. I popped up the focal circle with dimensionals to complete the card.
