How is it possible that it's already the end of the month? Crazy!
It's our last day for our August Flower Challenge, sponsored by Rachel Vass Designs.
Here's my card
For my card, I started with Rachel Vass Design's Joyous Moments digital image. I sized it in Word and printed it with my ink jet printer. I did run an anti-static bag over some watercolor paper before printing it. I quickly applied clear embossing powder over the image and heat set it. It really works - you have to be fast though. I then used some Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush to add color to the image. I then fussy cut the flowers and leaves. I wasn't sure where to go with my card after that. I pulled out my Kat Scrappiness Wood Grain Framed Diamond Wire die and some white cardstock. To add a bit more color, I chose a beautiful blue background (kind of like the sky). I popped the flowers and leaves up with a some dimensionals. I left the card without a sentiment because sometimes, you just need a nice note card.
