AAA Cards: CAS Game #165

For those who know me, I love clean and simple cards. I just don't have the patience to make a card with lots of layers and lots of embellishments. I find something calming about lots of white space!

So, I was in for the current challenge at AAA Cards

Here's my card

For this one layer card, I masked a 1.5" horizontal stripe on a white A2 card base with post-it tape. I stamped random flowers from Hero Arts Flowers for Coloring stamp set. I used a small oval make-up brush to add colors using distress inks (mustard seed, picked raspberry, mustard seed, peacock feathers, mowed lawn, wilted violet). I filled in the white areas with tumbled glass distress ink. I carefully removed the post-it tape and stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts Year Round Sentiments stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
