Addicted to Stamps and More! Challenge#424

We have a new challenge for you at Addicted to Stamps and More! The challenge is

Here's my card

I chose to make a sympathy card for my "any occasion". I seem to need more sympathy cards these days. I guess that it's all part of life, right - definitely a sad part of life. I prefer simple sympathy cards with darker tones. For this card, I found some patterned paper (middle strip) and placed it with dark gray strips of differing widths. I adhered the strips on a natural A2 card base. I heat embossed with gold embossing powder, the sentiment using Clearly Besotted's Sentimental Type stamp set on some natural cardstock. I trimmed it down to a 1 1/8" x 4 1/4" strip and adhered it to the card. To complete the card, I die cut using Simon Says STAMP's Eucalyptus Leaves die and some gold cardstock.

We'd love to see your "any occasion" card.

  1. Beautiful sympathy card, Sue. I always struggle to make them, may be because, as you say, it's a sad part of life. Love the delicate Eucalyptus leaves die cuts, such a beautiful design. x

  2. This is a gorgeous sympathy card Sue!
