Here's my card
For our challenge, you don't have to be an accomplished watercolour artist to join us - just use water somewhere &/or somehow on your card. For my card, I started with an A2 panel of Strathmore 140 lb watercolour paper. I masked off the borders with washi tape (yippee, I found a use for washi tape - LOL! I added color with distress inks (twisted citron, mowed lawn, peacock feathers) applied with oval brushes in a random pattern. I spritzed the inked panel with water, using a paper towel to pick up excess puddles of water. When the panel was dry, I stamped the twig with leaves using Paper Smooches' Reflections stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink several times in different orientations. For the sentiment, I used PinkFresh Studio's Scripted Greetings die set and vellum for the background and a scrap of teal cardstock for the outline.
We'd love to see your creations where you incorporate water somehow onto your card.
