Hi Friends! It's time for a new challenge at Die Cut Divas. This month, our challenge is sponsored by Hero Arts. The winner of our challenge will receive a $25 gift certificate to Hero Arts.
This month's challenge is FUN FOLD
Here's my card
I started with Hero Arts Three Japanese Dolls woodblock stamps. I stamped this Japanese doll with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used a new ink pad because I was using a woodblock stamp and repeated stamping wouldn't be possible. I did have to touch up a bit with a thin black marker. I added color with Copic markers - E41, E93, BG13, B93. I trimmed the panel and matted with black. For the gatefold card, I started with cardstock that was 5.5" x 8.5 and scored at 2 1/8" from each end. For the background, I used a taupe colored cardstock with Darice's Bamboo embossing folder and cut 2 panels 2" x 5 3/8"; one for each of the flaps. When adhering the main doll panel, I was careful to only add adhesive to one half (so that I wouldn't glue the card shut!).
Here's a photo of it slightly opened
We'd love to see your fun fold cards. Please join us.
