It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS
Here's my card
For the code word "animal", I chose this cute turtle. I started by masking off a 1.5" x 4.25" strip on a light teal A2 card panel. I used STAMPlorations ARTplorations Placid stencil and Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean distress ink, applied with an ink blending tool. I stamped this cute little turtle, using The Alley Way Stamps Sea Mates stamp set and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added color with Copic markers - G82, G85, YG63, YG91 and fussy cut the turtle out. I added glossy accents to the turtle's eyes for a bit of shine. I didn't want to cover up too much of the stenciled waves, so I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Versamark ink on vellum. I used silver embossing powder and heat set the sentiment.
How will you use this month's code word, animal, onto your card? We'd love to see it.

Hi, Sue
ReplyDeleteUsing a stencil isn't something I've spent any time trying to master, so I'm in awe of anyone who can pull it off - and pull it off you do! That stencil works very well with the very cute turtle. xoxo, Fran
