Addicted to Stamps and More! Challenge #398

When I'm sitting at my craft table, I'm able to forget about the world's issues, at least for a little while. I'm in my own world and I love it there! There is not much better than playing with pretty paper!

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More! For the next two weeks, our challenge is

Fortunately, for me, I needed a birthday card for a friend of mine who loves fast cars. Here's the card I made for him.

I stamped the race car using CTMH's Finish Line stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added color with Copic markers B24, C5. I trimmed the panel and matted with a bright blue cardstock. I found some fun diagonally striped patterned paper with a bit of shimmer for the background. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's Sentiment Type stamp set. My friend liked the card but wished the car was parked outside for him - ha!

We'd love for you to join us for our "birthday" challenge.
