Welcome to the 6th STAMPlorations Giving Thanks Blog Hop & Giveaway! Despite how crazy our lives have become living with the COVID 19 pandemic, there is still much to give thanks for. I love that STAMPlorations holds this blog hop and giveaway to remind us of that.

Here's my card

For my card, I masked off a vertical area on the left side of a white A2 card with Post-it Tape. I used some of the images from STAMPlorations' Wonderfall Time stamp set and stamped some of them multiple times. I then added color with an ink blending tool and distress inks (mustard seed, carved pumpkin, ripe persimmon). I carefully removed the Post-it Tape. I then stamped the sentiment, the "you" with Hero Arts Soft Cantaloupe ink. I also stamped "thankful for" with Versafine Onyx Black ink ... but it was slightly crooked and it bothered me. Time to be nimble and go with plan B. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of black cardstock with Versamark ink and then I used white embossing powder and heat set it. I trimmed the scrap and adhered it to the card, covering the original "thankful for". Phew - saved the card! Truth be told, I like it better.
