July! What? Already? It's hard to believe but it's time for the July Challenge at Happy Little Stampers ~ Watercolour Challenge
Here's my card
I was looking around my craft space for some inspiration for this month's card when I noticed my much neglected Ken OIiver Color Bursts. I pulled out some glossy cardstock along with Lemon Yellow, Alizarin Crimson, Pthalo Green, Ultramarine Blue and Violet Color Bursts. I lightly tapped some of the color bursts onto the cardstock, in rainbow order. I then carefully spritzed water on them and I watched the colors "burst". The effect is so magical. I left the panel to dry. Onto my next dilemma, what to do next! I decided to make an eclipse card. I used My Favorite Things Thank You die set to die cut the letters. To pop them up, I also die cut a piece of white fun foam. I adhered the die cut cardstock letters to the die cut fun foam letters and then in the negative space with some liquid glue. Here's a close up.
I searched through my stamps to find the word "you" to add to the card. I selected Papertrey Ink's Phrase Play #5, which I white heat embossed onto black cardstock which I trimmed down. I adhered the panel to a white A2 card to complete the card.
We'd love for you to join us this month showing off your watercolour creation.
