It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. I'm proud to be the host for this challenge.
I picked the code word "sun" quite awhile back and I can't recall what I had in mind. I thought about sun rays or sun stencils. However, I thought I'd do something a bit different, how about a setting sun? Here's my card
For this one layer card, I created a circle mask using Sizzix circle dies and a post-it note. I added colors using distress inks - wild honey, ripe persimmon, fired brick, dusty concord, applied with an ink blending tool. I added the silhouettes using Technique Tuesday's Wildflowers stamp set and Versafine Onyx Black ink. I removed the mask and added the sentiment, using Poppy Stamps' Peony Stems and Blossoms stamp set and Versafine Onyx Black ink.
We'd love to see how "sun" inspires you!
