Now, isn't this the most perfect code word when one is still under some restrictions (like no non-essential travelling) due to the pandemic. I love the beach - ahhhh, listening to the waves crash, the gentle breeze through the trees. Yes, it's definitely my happy place.

Here's my beach-inspired card

On some natural cardstock, I stamped various beachy items using Lawn Fawn's Life is Good stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I knew I was going to cut this into a strip, so I restricted my stamping to a specific area. I added color with Copic markers (BG05, BG13, C2, E21, E43, R05, Y17, Y38). I cut the natural cardstock to 2" x 4.25". I have some light kraft cardstock that I thought would be a good background. I stamped the sentiment, using the same stamp set with the Memento black ink. I adhered the strip of beachy items just above the sentiment to complete the card. Now that I think about it, this could have easily been a one layer card. Oh well, maybe next time.
