It's fun to use stuff that I purchased long ago and frankly, forgot I even had. LOL!

 Ran a purple piece of cardstock through my Cuttlebug with this embossing folder

 Cut some printed paper

from this 6x6 pad

 Used the "Thank You" from this SU stamp set

 Used a flower stamp from each of these sets

 
Stamped the flowers with these inks; stamped off once with the Distress Ink to tone down the colour.

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge March 29 - April 4

I know I need to sort through my stash and organize things. It's so much fun to create though - organizing can be done when I have "card creator's block"! I was looking through my things to find Paper Smooches supplies.

 Used these SU inks - Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral

Used flowers and leaves from these sets - Calico and Reflections

The Paper Players - PP238 Claire's Tic Tac Toe Challenge

LOVE long weekends - especially this weekend. It was already a four-day weekend and I also took Tuesday off, so 5 days off!  WOOHOO!

I looked at the challenge this week from the Paper Players and was so disappointed that I hadn't looked at it sooner. The deadline - 2.5 hours from now. When I woke up this morning, I had to get busy.

I loved this challenge - it really pushed me to "think" of how I could complete a line of three.



 Admittedly, I'm an over-achiever. Once I figured out that I could dry emboss with the large polka dots embossing folder from SU with blue paper (woohoo - met all the criteria in the right side vertical line), I decided to also work in the middle horizontal line. I know that the embossed paper doesn't look blue, it's a light blue (IRL)!

I used this diecut from Simon Says Stamps and added a few sequins.

Honoured ....

So I'm blogging mostly for myself to remind myself how I created the cards and to catalog my cards. I find inspiration in the various sketches and challenges on the internet. Never did I imagine that someone would like my work.
