Die Cut Divas ~ Happy Mother's Day with Birch Press Design

ANY HOLIDAY IN THE YEAR

For my card, I chose Mother's Day. I'm getting tired of Christmas cards. Here's my card

For my card, I used Birch Press Design's Pimpernel Contour Layers craft dies. I die cut the pieces of the leaves and flowers using white cardstock. I added color with distress inks - abandoned coral, ripe persimmon, wild honey, mustard seed, evergreen bough, peacock feathers applied with oval ink blending brushes. I planned a placement of the flowers and leaves and took a picture with my phone so that I could remember where to put the elements. On a light gray A2 panel, I heat embossed the sentiment using Hero Arts' Happy Mother's Day stamp set and gold embossing powder. I glued all the flowers and leaves in place, following my photo. To complete my card, I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base.
