AAA Cards ~ Challenge #278

Ready for a new Clean and Simple challenge at AAA Cards? For the next two weeks, here is our challenge

Here's my card

For my card, I used Simon Says STAMP's Tri Square die. I remember seeing this die and thinking that I had to have it. I think that this might be the first time I actually used it. Do you have things in your stash that you HAD to have and then, never use it? OK - you don't have to answer that question - LOL! I die cut the front of a white A2 card base with the die. On a white A2 panel, I lightly marked with a pencil the area just beyond the edges of the "windows" and ink blended with distress inks - peacock feathers, tumbled glass and mermaid lagoon, applied with oval ink blending brushes. For the critters, I used Taylored Expressions' Sneak a Peek stamp set. I stamped the critters with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock. I added color with Touch markers 21, 56, 85, 107, CG5, WG3 and fussy cut them. I glued the critters to the back of the front of the card base, so that they were visible through the "windows". I stamped the sentiment using Spellbinders' Fill My Heart Sentiment stamp set, received as part of the Crop & Create Delivered March 2023 event box with Gina K Design's Ocean Mist ink. I trimmed the A2 panel slightly and adhered it to the back of the front of the card with double-sided tape.

We'd love to see how you interpret this sketch in our gallery.

  1. Those peeking critters are fab, such an adorable card that works perfectly with the sketch. Maaike has also used this die on her card as well and you made me look I have used it once on a card that I have blogged about. You both have reminded me how versatile it is!
