It's Remembrance Day here in Canada today. I stopped at 11 am to those who have served, especially those who paid the ultimate price with their lives. I remember my cousin Stu, who served in the Canadian Armed Forces. We will not forget them!
It's also Monday and that means a new challenge at Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge
Here's my card
For my card, I used Simon Says STAMP's Beautiful Mothers stamp set. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock. I added color with Touch Markers - 7, 14, 58, 84, 101, 144, 147, 172, 183. I trimmed the panel to 3 1/4" x 5 3/4" and matted with purple cardstock cut to 3 1/2" x 6". For the sentiment, I used a scrap of orange cardstock and Clearly Besotted's A Little Sentimental stamp set. I adhered the panel to a white mini slimline cardsbase 3 1/2" x 6" to complete my card.
We'd love to see your interpretations of our sketch in our gallery.
