Here at Happy Little Stampers ~ Watercolour Challenge, we have a new challenge to start of the new year
Here's my card
I started with an A2 sized panel of 96 lb bristol paper. I started to add colour, in a rainbow order with distress inks (candied apple, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, mowed lawn, salty ocean, wilted violet) with a water brush, blending the adjacent colours together. I waited until the panel was dry then die cut it with STAMPlorations Congrats Word Art die. I didn't "feel" the watercolour effect, so I dabbed the tip of my water brush in water and lifted dots of colour on the die cut. I tried spritzing but the spray was too fine and I didn't achieve the effect I was looking for. To complete the card, I found a scrap of black and white patterned paper.
