2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Excited to be able to join the group at the 2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Often I have good intentions but the execution requires some more work! However, not this time. I think there is still almost 8 hours to go ...

Here's my card

For the background, I started with Tim Holtz' Layering Stencil - Splatters and Layering Stencil Set Mini #3 (which is a smaller version of the Splatters' stencil) and distress inks (tea dye, ground espresso and brushed corduroy) applied with ink blending tools. I stamped the coffee cup from Create-A-Smile's Coffee First stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I added some color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and fussy cut the cup. I used a strip of kraft cardstock for the sentiment band. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's Warm Solutions II.

  9. Great card, love the background. I should get out my TH stencils for a play. I know what you mean about the time issues. I have known to get up early on a Saturday morning (not my usual thing lol) to enter another CLBH card minutes before the linky closed. I think my card was the last one on 2 hops. This time, I created more card AND entered the last one with 9 or 10 hours to spare.
