Here's my card
Anita commented that inlaying the die cut was "fiddly". She wasn't joking. I ended up with lots of little pieces that I kept losing - LOL!
I was inspired by:
- the colours
- the randomness of the colours; Anita used two shades of brushos; I couldn't find my Color Bursts, so settled on smooshing of distress inks
- script sentiment
- layout - square panel, die cut extends a bit beyond the panel
I started by adding distress inks (spiced marmalade, ripe persimmon and picked raspberry) using a smooshing technique. I die cut using Memory Box - Large Olive Branch both a piece of red cardstock and the inked panel. I used a piece of printer paper, where I added adhesive all over, to gently place all the pieces of the inked panel and the olive branch.
I added a script sentiment from PTI - Heart-2-Heart #3.
