One Card - Three Challenges

Here's my card
I love playing over at One-Layer Simplicity Challenge
This month their challenge is OLS #19 - Strip Down. No, it doesn't necessarily mean, take off your clothes, rather mask off a strip.

This week's challenge #236 at Less is More

For our
One Layer Card
This month we have the title
The Eyes Have it!

I was going through my stamps to find a critter with big eyes - I take things so literally! I also love puns - then it came to me. Perhaps I could create a card based on I heart U.

I found these two The Alley Way Stamps  Aren't they fun? Since I used their stamps, I'm also linking my card to their monthly link up.

I masked off an area which is 1.25" wide with post-it tape. I randomly stamped a variety of the eyes (and mouths/mustaches) trying to keep them within the strip. To better delineate the strip, I used ink blending tools and distress inks (ripe persimmon, picked raspberry and seedless preserves)

For the sentiment - the "i" and "u" are from this Paper Smooches set and

the heart from this Simon Says STAMP stamp set.
