Die Cut Divas ~ December Challenge with Waffle Flower Birdie Friends

Phew! Made it to December. How are you all doing? Hopefully not too stressed with the Holidays quickly approaching. If you need some time to breathe, maybe you could get crafty. Our December challenge at Die Cut Divas is

Here's my card

For my card, I used Waffle Flowers' Birdie Friends in Winter die set. I die cut all the pieces with white cardstock. I added color with the coordinating Waffle Flower' Birdie Friends in Winter stencil set and distress inks (cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, festive berries, abandoned coral, wilted violet, dusty concord, salty ocean, blueprint sketch, gathered twig, ground espresso) applied with mini oval ink blending brushes. For the beaks, I used Copic marker Y38. On a white A2 card panel, I added some tumbled glass distress ink applied with an oval ink blending brush, concentrating on the edges. I glued the pieces of each bird together and glued the branch with the birds in place. For the sentiment, I used Waffle Flower's Fa-la-la stamp set and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base to complete my card.
