Try A Sketch On Tuesday ~ Challenge #686

Hope you're ready for our first challenge of 2026 at Try A Sketch On Tuesday. Here's our sketch.

Fun sketch, eh? Here's my take on it.

I finally got to use the fringe scissors that I purchased some time ago. I fringed three strips of colored cardstock and glued the top edges together. I then stamped the pinata using Lawn Fawn's Year Seven stamp set and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added color with Ohuhu markers B389, G483, RV783, Y495 and fussy cut. I found some other papers to coordinate with the pinata and die cut a couple of shapes using Simon Says STAMP's Labeled With Love die set. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of teal cardstock with Paper Smooches' Birthday Sampler stamp set. I cut the sentiment strip and angled the ends. I glued the elements on a light gray A2 card panel and then adhered the panel to a white A2 card base with double-sided tape.

We'd love to see what you create based on our sketch in our gallery.
