It's time for a new challenge at Try A Sketch On Tuesday. Here's the sketch.
Here's my take on the sketch
So, I rotated the sketch to make it a landscape card. For the mountains, I used Simon Says STAMP's Holiday Horizon Stencil along with distress inks - frayed burlap, hickory smoke applied with oval ink blending brushes. For the trees and cabins, I used Birch Press Design's Littletown Village die set. I die cut a bunch of trees and cabins from white cardstock and added color with Ohuhu markers E280, E463, G345, G554, WG170. I glued the roofs to the cabins and glued the cabins and trees in place, placing them in clusters, similar to the sketch. For the sentiment, I used Simon Says STAMP's Handwritten Sentiments stamp set. To complete my card, I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base with double-sided tape.
We'd love to see what you create based on our sketch in our gallery.
