Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge ~ Challenge #665

Officially, it's still Monday, at least on the West Coast. That means that it must be time for a new sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Here's the sketch.

Here's my card

For my card, I started with the little squirrel and sunflower using Lawn Fawn's Sunny Squirrels stamp and die set which I received as part of my Scrapbook & Cards Today's Crop & Create Delivered Fall 2022 event box. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added color with Ohuhu markers E357, E761, E769, G554, Y494 Y691. I die cut them with the coordinating dies and also die cut leaves using the same die set using green cardstock. I added a bit of shading on the leaves with peeled paint distress ink applied with a mini ink blending brush. I die cut a circle from cream cardstock using a Sizzix circle die and a scalloped circle using a Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circle Etched die and teal cardstock. I glued the two die cuts together. I found some complementary patterned paper and cut a vertical strip, a fish-tail banner and a sentiment strip from it. I stamped the sentiment on the sentiment strip using Your Next Stamp's Cool Tag Banner Sentiments stamp set. I glued the vertical strip onto an A2 cream card base. I glued the squirrel and sunflower onto the cream circle die cut. I adhered the banner piece and then arranged and glued the scalloped circle and leaves in place. I adhered the sentiment strip in place to complete my card.
