Die Cut Divas ~ January Challenge

Happy January! We have a January Challenge over at Die Cut Divas. Our challenge this month is

USE SOMETHING NEW

Here's my card

The "new" item used for my card is the digital stamp by Dustin Pike which is available at Whimsy Stamp. The digital stamp used is Toucan Surf. I sized it and printed it with my inkjet printer. I added color with Ohuhu markers - BG042, CG083, E371, G191, G479, G482, R588, V369, Y360, Y696. I die cut the image with an Echo Park's Stitched Oval Nesting die. I had the wavy panel in my stash and felt it was a good time to use it. I made the panel with STAMPlorations' Placid stencil and distress inks, cracked pistachio, peacock feathers and mermaid lagoon applied with oval ink blending brushes. I trimmed the panel slightly and matted on a teal A2 panel. I adhered the focal oval die cut onto the card panel with double-sided tape. I adhered the completed panel to a white A2 card base to complete my Cowabunga Dude card!

Our current challenge is a great time to use those supplies that you received for Christmas or that you purchased through a Black Friday sale or are otherwise, new! We'd love to see what you create in our gallery.
