AAA Cards ~ Challenge #481

Happy New Year Crafty Friends! After a brief break, we're back at AAA Cards with a new challenge. Our first challenge of 2025 is

Here's my card. I chose to add the Optional Twist of "flies in the air".

For this one layer card, I started with a white A2 card base and Pink & Main's Mask It Circle stencil. I used my Wendy Vecchi's Make Art STAYtion to hold the stencil in place. I couldn't find my "normal" clouds stencil so I improvised with Simon Says STAMP's Layering Rainbow stencil, Simon Says STAMP's Slimline Floral stencil and STAMPlorations' Clouds stencil. I added color with distress inks - wilted violet, picked raspberry, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, mowed lawn, peacock feathers, tumbled glass applied with oval ink blending brushes. I would place one of the stencils and ink blend with one color. I would move the stencil to a slightly different orientation and different part of the stencil or a completely different stencil and ink blended with the next color. I continued until the entire circle was done. I removed the stencils and stamped the birds using Lavinia Stamps' Birds stamp and the sentiment using My Favorite Things' Blissful Butterflies stamp set.

We'd love to see your clean and simple creations in our gallery. Now, will you use our Optional Twist or not?
