House of Cards January 2016 Challenge

Happy New Year! Hoping that 2016 is full of joy and fun and lots of time for making cards!

I feel privileged to continue on as a member of the Design Team at House of Cards. I enjoy the challenge of having to continue to "raise the bar". My fellow teammates at House of Cards provide lots of inspiration and encouragement.

Here's this month's challenge

JANUARY 2016
Use Embossing and/or Colors

a door tones 

I love a challenge. I decided to use both embossing and the colours of this challenge.

Here's my card


I used this Stampin Up embossing folder


Die cut some leafy branches with this Poppy Stamps/Memory Box die


I stamped the fancy frame using this Papertrey Ink stamp set and fussy cut the frame out


I added the sentiment from this Simon Says STAMP set
