The challenge for this card was to try out a new technique. I made this "chevron" pattern paper using striped pattern paper.
This challenge was to include "food". I'm sure that cake is one of the food groups - right?

This card is for this week's challenge at Paper Smooches SPARKS
I was inspired by Kristina Werner
Here's her card
I started by stamping the largest flower. I covered half of it (to the left) with Post-it Tape. I then proceeded to stamp flowers and leaves from these Paper Smooches sets - Bold Blooms and Reflections

The Paper Players PP241
Here's my card
It's for the challenge at The Paper Players
I inked this Hero Arts stamp with Versamark and used white embossing powder. I applied water to the card front then added Distress Inks (oops, I can't remember which colours) with a brush, allowing some of the colours to blend.

I used a similar technique to Kristina Werner did with balloons, here
I used this My Favorite Things stamp set
and inked each butterfly with the lighter colour in each row and "rocked" the stamp along the edges with the darker colour.
