AAA Cards ~ Challenge #325

I love creating clean and simple cards. There is something calming about lots of white space and minimal layers and embellishments. At least, it's that way for me. We have a new challenge starting at AAA Cards. Here's our color inspiration.

Here's my card

For my card, I used a Simon Says STAMP's Simple Patterns Trio stencil on a white A2 card base. I used distress inks - spun sugar, dusty concord, peeled paint, seedless preserves and PinkFresh Studio's evergreen ink applied with oval ink blending brushes. I masked off each diagonal line with scraps of paper. For the sentiment, I used Simon Says STAMP's Giggle Thank You die with purple cardstock and for the shadow layer, I used some vellum. I glued the sentiment die cut to the vellum and the vellum to the A2 card base to finish my card.
