Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #669

Still Monday here on the West Coast. Time for a new challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Here's the sketch.

Not gonna lie. This was a challenging sketch for me. Here's the card I made.

The making of this card required quite a bit of masking with repositionable tape, similary to Post-It tape but in a 1/2" width. I started with a white A2 card panel and placed the tape every half inch. Then I used STAMPlorations' Dots All Over stencil and distress inks - mermaid lagoon, wilted violet, picked raspberry, candied apple, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, lucky clover applied with oval ink blending brushes. I then moved the masking tape over the polka dot strips and also masked the right half of the panel. I ink blended lost shadow distress ink, also applied with an oval ink blending brush. I removed all the masks and stamped the sentiment using Hero Arts Year Round Sentiments and Versafine Onyx Black ink. To complete the card, I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base with double-sided tape.

We'd love to see what you create based on our sketch in our gallery.
