Die Cut Divas ~ Shaking it Out with Brass & Bliss

It's the last day of our October challenge at Die Cut Divas. You have until 9pm Pacific to join in the fun! Our challenge this month is

ANYTHING GOES

Our sponsor this month is Brass & Bliss. Fun fact - they used to be known as Rubbernecker Stamps, which you may have seen at a Stamp & Scrapbook Expo. Unfortunately, I'm unable to link to their website as it's restricted to the US. They generously are offering a $50 gift card to their store. This prize is restricted to US addresses only.

Here is my card

I made a shaker card. I started with Rubbernecker Stamps (that became Brass & Bliss) Candle Set stamp set. I stamped the candles with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a white A2 card panel and added color with Ohuhu markers - B281, B289, G473, RV390, RV687, Y397, Y696. I then used a Brass & Bliss' Deckle Frame die to die cut four frames, which I glued together. I don't like using dimensional tape to create shaker cards. Using cardstock layers to give the space for the shaker bits seems to work better for me. I used some old packaging for the shaker window and added some glitter bits and "closed" the shaker area up with double-sided tape. I adhered the shaker panel to a white A2 card base also with double-sided tape to complete my card.

Here's a picture of the card after a bit of shaking!

We'd love to see your ANYTHING GOES card(s) in our gallery. Remember, the gallery closes tonight.
